This property was simply incredible, and the staff was superb. To start off, our room was upgraded to a Seaview, and we were informed at check in that on the day of check out, we could request a late check out for 2 pm. The room itself was wonderful...clean with some thoughtful features. The rooftop pool was not operational. However, the infinity pool on the third floor was operational, and the property has a fitness center that was not noted on booking.com, a wonderful perk. The breakfast was excellent with lots of options, including an omelet bar. Freshly baked breads, lots of fruits, and numerous beverage options. The property and its staff really do uphold 5 star standards. The location is beachfront with multiple restaurants within 100 ft of the property. We would stay here each and every time we are in Rio, the hotel is exceptional.

Very modern and comfortable hotel, located in front of the Barra beach (which is very nice), with only a road to cross. Huge TV screen in the room. Large standard room, with nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast buffet, which is quite varied. I could barely sample everything in a week. Very good coffee. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. For example, they fixed my suitcase in five minutes for free (it had been damaged during the flight).

We loved the location, in Barra Beach. It also had a very nice restaurant/bar right across the street. Breakfast was very good. Although cracked pool floor glass was supposed to be safe (staff said they had it checked), it did not provide enough reassurance for parents. We did not let our kids get in, which was a shame. Visually, it looks scary. They should have it replaced.
